“THE DEATH PENALTY AND ABORTION”

By Ronald Wayne Clark Jr.

I’ve been out of commission for a while. Just so much going on here at Union Correctional Institution and all these back to back executions over at Florida State Prison that has placed me in a deep depressive state of mind. So much so that its taken medication to try to bring me out of it.

Am I good? Would you be good if you were being warehoused in a cage and they come on the wing every couple of weeks and march someone off that you’ve been associating with for decades to their impending death?

No what’s going on here could only be described as a war zone, where men are dying next to you and your wondering when the bullets going to hit you, or someone your close to. And even praying for death so this nightmare will just end. That’s the only thing you could remotely compare to this situation we’re in. Mental and emotional trauma like nothing you’ve ever experienced! PTSD to the extreme.

We’ve had two suicides in less than a year. Both men I knew.

One of the guys Roderick Orme I’ve known 30 years and I had just lived three cells down from back in September 2025, when he was talking to me about committing suicide then. I was counseling him trying to talk him out of it. Then in January, with the signing his former neighbor Ronald Heath, who was two cells away from me, and in March, signing Chadwick Willacy — two guys that both him and I were close to, and then not having me around to talk to… I think it pushed him too far over the edge, where he just couldn’t take being surrounded by all of this death, destruction and human heartache of losing people you’ve grown close to.

No this is anything but normal!

And anyone who thinks this is humane, is absolutely insane! Humanity is absent, civility doesn’t exist in this nightmare we are in.

And these Pro-Lifers who are actually antiabortionist, well to you I say, God bless abortions, for I wish that in July of 1967 when my mother found out she was pregnant with me, that she would have went down and aborted that pregnancy right then and there and spared all of us especially me a lot of heartache. I know you don’t like hearing that, but the truth is, everyone shouldn’t have children and everyone shouldn’t breed and that’s just the hardcore reality of life! I was flawed by bad DNA, polluted from birth with drugs and alcohol and brought up in an unfriendly childhood environment. Yes the absolute best thing that could have been done for all involved including me, was to, have aborted this pregnancy!

And God how I wish that would have happened!!!

Am I good? Have I been pushed too far? Where’s my breaking point?

Men are dying, being murdered under the mantel of Justice by a sick society that has no civility too it! A society that doesn’t know true Justice! Lady liberty is not wearing a blindfold to weigh out Justice evenly, she’s wearing that blindfold because she doesn’t want to see them imbalanced scales of injustice that she’s holding in her hands!

Lady liberty is … wearing that blindfold because she doesn’t want to see them imbalanced scales of injustice that she’s holding in her hands!

Am I frustrated? Yes you can say that.

And I’m also disgusted with Church leaders who refuse to fight against the injustice and unbalanced scales of Capital Punishment and the murders that are being committed in the name of Justice! I’m most disgusted with these Catholic Bishops who should be the spiritual advisors of these doomed men, who are hiding in the churches during these men’s death, rather than holding these men’s hands and giving them the sacrament as they die in Florida’s death chamber, and then walking out of that death chamber and telling the people about the injustice they just witnessed. Yes I’m disgusted at what I am witnessing! Disgusted at cowards hiding from political condemnation, or political retribution! A country, a state and a church that stands on murdering the poor with the machinery of death as it remains silent, as a church mouse pissing on cotton!

Violence breeds violence, and silence is acknowledging acceptance of this unjust conduct and America’s failed death penalty and over-reaching abortion restrictions! Unwanted, abused children who may one day find themselves sitting on death row marched into a death chamber due to forced pregnancies.

Welcome to my world, a world I wish I would have never known!
